Padmori began with a clumsy first attempt.
We wanted to turn a single photo of a pet into something you could hold, so we bought wool and needles and felted our first one ourselves. The proportions were off and the expression wasn't quite right — we're still refining it today. That piece taught us that true likeness takes years of practiced hands.
So we partnered with a dedicated needle-felting studio. Every Padmori piece is made start to finish by a single artisan, stitch by stitch, never passed down a line. We stay with you through every step: choosing photos, confirming details, and showing you video and photos of the finished piece before anything ships.

Needle-felt is entirely by hand; each piece carries tiny human variation. You receive a checkpoint and preview before we finish and ship your piece.
Dark, blurry, or heavily filtered photos hide important detail. If a photo isn't suitable, we'll ask for better references before starting.
International shipping may pause at customs or postal handoffs. After shipment we email you a tracking number and proactively help if an order stalls.
Framed keepsakes take 4–6 weeks from photo approval; full-body sculptures take 5–8 weeks. You get milestone updates throughout.
We needle-felt from your photos and send a preview before the final step. If a detail is off, we adjust — two revision rounds are included free. Handmade means tiny human variation — but likeness is the point.
3–5 clear, well-lit photos: one front, one side, and one full-body. Natural light is best. If a photo isn't suitable, we'll tell you before starting.
Orders can be cancelled within 48 hours for a full refund. After that, you can still cancel for a 70% refund until we send your first preview; once the preview is sent, the order is final.
